I swear I have read everything about how to choose a size for GA Jeans. I think I found the hack.I measured a size 8 in the small of my waist and a size 2 in my hips. So I averaged the 2 and went with a size 6. Opted for rounding up because size 5 doesn’t exist and I’d rather have room in the waist.Result, I need to cool it on the cheese and wine but the 6 was perfect. Lots of stretch in these jeans, tons, so I didn’t feel stuffed. If I had went up to a size 8 there would have been too much bunching of denim in the crotch. The back pockets are so wellplaced, the booty is enhanced. Also, I’m 5’4 and they hit the ankle exactly.I discovered Good American on a vacation in Southern California. I purchased them because I love the fit so much. I did not know it is a Kardashian line until someone else told me. ? Not that it matters, they are still my favorite jeans since I discovered Joe's jeans back in 2000. I have very slender hips/thighs and a thicker waist so jean fit is not easy for me. This is my second pair and I love them just as much! The only issue I had was this pair of jeans had a very strong perfume odor upon arrival. I placed them out in the sun for an entire day but that did not help at all. I actually had to put them through the wash 2 times and use an "odor buster" to make them wearable. Not sure where they were stored and this made me a little skeptical that these are the real deal or maybe had been worn before? I still love them. They have just the right amount of stretch, they support you without feeling restrictive and I find the fit/size to be comparable to other jeans. I am normally a size 6 and currently about 15 lbs over weight so I bought an 8 and they are just right.
